The BRAVE partners are proud to co-organize the ETTCOM workshop (Enabling Technologies for Terahertz Communications) in partnership with the EPIC H2020 project and ISEP engineering school. The full-day workshop will take place on the 31st of August as part of the international IEEE PIMRC conference (Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications).

The workshop will occur as a virtual event animated by Prof. Faouzi Bader (BRAVE, ISEP). It will provide perspectives on the THz communications promises and enablers, and put into light some recent innovations in various domains such as materials, antennas, protocols, modulations, and modelling.

The program includes

• Three invited talks: Reconfigurable meta-surfaces by Prof. Maziar Nekovee (University of Sussex), Wireless 2.0 by Dr. Marco Di Renzo (CNRS), and BRAVE advances by Yoann Corre (Siradel)
• A panel session on THz Communications: Opportunities, Challenges, and Preliminary Developments, moderated by Prof. M.Slim Alouini (KAUST), along with Prof. Tetsuya Kawanishi (Waseda University), Prof. Angeliki Alexiou (University of Piraeus) and Dr. Wolfgang Templ (Nokia Bell Labs).
• Seven scientific peer-reviewed papers.
